Foodlogy: Carnivore

A blog that I've totally forgot about it until my camera came back from the "hospital"
Testing out the camera and saw the long forgotten photos that I've well kept in the memory card. 

Usually whenever our bosses are in town, we will have a get together to wine and dine. So this time round is not exception from the usual ones.
We gave a list of good places for our boss to choose, and ended up with Carnivore at MBS! HEH!

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Carnivore’s third outlet opens its doors at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands on 25 October 2011. Besides offering Carnivore’s spread of quality meats on skewer which are rotisserie-cooked till perfection and wide selection of salads on our salad bar, Carnivore @ MBS introduces Rio Tapas Lounge, a new dining concept that provides diners with fusion delicacies served in a delightful Tapas setting.

Operating Hours & Prices:

Carnivore Brazilian Churrascaria
Buffet Lunch: 11.30am to 3.00pm
$34++ per adult 
$15++ per child

Buffet Dinner: 6.00pm to 11.00pm
$49++ per adult
$20++ per child

All prices subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes.

Parking Directions
Carnivore is located at the south wing of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The nearest car park besides the MBS Visitor Car Park is the Wilson Parking which is located between the MBS Financial Centre and MBS.

Churrascaria is Portuguese for barbecue. The atmosphere at Carnivore is fun, relaxed, simple and understated . Our knife-welding Passadors (meat waiters) come to your table and slice the meat from large skewers onto your plates. At Carnivore, the meats are marinated and cooked over fire till perfection. Our Brazilian chefs will pamper you with an array of meats – beef, pork, chicken, lamb and fish.

I love how they have tongs to help us especially with the prawns peeling! 
It makes the peeling sooooooo much easier! 

Apparently we are charged for the water, not sure if it cos our bosses asked for mineral water instead.

The RED Coaster means that you don't want any meat served you you yet, while the GREEN Coaster means Yes to Meat! 

Some white wine to go along with the meat. I know it is a little off, but I prefer white to red, judge me!

Other than the meat on skewers, there is a buffet bar too
Nice & Yummy buffet that kept me eating without realizing that I've not eaten any meat on the skewers!
The buffet bar spread was really nice and yummy and the good thing about this buffet bar was that different food are being replenished after one tray is gone!

Started off with my FAVOURITE MUSHROOM Soup

A little of each of the buffet dishes, really adds up to a lot.

As more and more meat are added to the plates. 
I chew until my jaws are aching! 
So much of food till I can die in a food coma.

The skewers are soooooo tempting with so much variety to choose from. 
Apparently they serve chicken hearts and it's a while stock last, but we did not manage to order that. Unsure of the taste but it is a dish full of praises! 
But do I really dare to try?

Secret: I am MADLY IN LOVE with the grilled pineapples!
And I kept waving to the Waiter who was carrying the pineapples, MAD JUICY AND YUMMY!

I think I left my tummy in the restaurant cos I was really filled to the brim!
Burps for the good food! and I would very much like to bring D to go after our wedding :)

After this sinful and filling dinner, that's not the end.
We went to the atas Ku De Ta for a drink with a view.
