I Exercise?


Saw this on Facebook and thought it is quite apt!

I never loved exercising and till now, 
I still don't really like exercising 
Prolly that is the reason why I signed up at True. 
To force myself to exercise. 


I need to prepare for the wedding
I'm right now not in the right size for the wedding yet. 
But I'm still trying my best. 


I am not born the skinny way. 
so please don't say u are fat when you are slim
I think it's an insult to me. 




But right now, at this point of the time
I will feel guilty if I don't visit the gym or go for yoga classes 
I love the aches aftermath. 
I love the sense of accomplishment after each class. 
I wake up without the help of alarm. 
I am unsure what's happening.

I think I'm crazy! 

Goggled a bit on how exercise can benefit us.
I think 2013 is the year where I goggled about exercising!



Exercise controls weight
I'm not very sure if I did lost weight, but the fact that my very own clothes fits me nicely, of which some are slightly looser, makes me feel happier.

Weight is just a number isn't it?
LOL, which is more scary? Age or Weight? 

Exercise combats health conditions and diseases
Because exercising help blood circulation and inhaling happy positive ions!
It also helps in lowering the high blood pressure.
Because exercising is good for the heart! :)

Exercise improves mood
Physical activity stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave you feeling happier and more relaxed.
You may also feel better about your appearance and yourself when you exercise regularly, which can boost your confidence and improve your self-esteem.
Weird or what, my mood does improves a lot as compared to previously.
Maybe it's in the mind too!

Exercise boosts energy
 Exercise and physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to your tissues and help your cardiovascular system work more efficiently. And when your heart and lungs work more efficiently, you have more energy to go about your daily chores

Well, I quite agree with this statement cos I personally felt this way on days where I don't exercise.
But on yoga days/gym days, I will feel lethargic right after the shower. LOL!
And recently, I don't even need an alarm to wake up on working days! How crazy does that feel?
I never wake up so early automatically previously.
Even on weekends which I usually sleep until 12pm, I now wakes up at 9am!


Exercise boosts Mental Health
Reduce stress; Boost happy chemicals; Boost happy chemicals; Prevent cognitive decline; Alleviate anxiety; Boost brainpower; Sharpen Memory; Increase relaxation; Get more done

Nowadays when I'm offered a piece of chip (my drop dead killer) 
I will reject most of the time
I said most, not all. 
hahaha!




Having said all these, I still go for brunch which is fattening
LOL!

Even a lazybum like me is getting into the gym lately, what about you?  

I haven yet to blog about the Shiseido Event that I went!
And how I celebrated my Anniversary. 
Time to catch up! :)
