Oats In A Jar!

Due to the recent craze in Oats In A Jar aka OIAJ
I was pretty much inspired due to the pretty pictures that I see online. 

So I decided to make one for myself. 

Simple job yet filling and super healthy. 
No Cooking required and is packed with nutrients to get our day start healthily!
High in protein, calcium & fiber
Low fat and sugar. 

Recipe below cost us about 215 calories! 

1. 1/4 cup of uncooked old fashioned rolled oats (I chose wholemeal)
2. 1/3 cup skim milk
3. 1/4 cup low fat Greek Yogurt
4. 1.5 teaspoon of dried chia seeds (available in some guardian stores. but i replaced this with almond nuts)
5. 2 teaspoons of maple syrup (adjust accordingly)
6. 1/4 cup of berries. (I use blueberries)

Soak the Chia Seeds in cold water. Let it slowly turn into gel-ish. 
Mixed all the oats, milk, yogurt and chia seeds/nut together
Add in maple syrup for taste cos some yogurt are more sour than others
Shake them up in the bottle
Ensure that they are mixed well and add in the berries & the soaked Chia Seeds. 

Store them in the fridge overnight. 

Can keep in the fridge for a day or two.
