Healthy

Simply clueless on what to put for the title. Cos I've got a lot of backlogs stuff to catch up, all the photos are stuck in my phone. blame it on the busy work schedules! I simply had no time for myself. I hardly come home for dinner, I will be either at work if not hitting the gym. 
And ya, I just got "married" to True Fitness again! 
I reckon that more exercise is needed for losing weight and to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I wan to be the gorgeous glowing bride.

I finally tried the Bikram Session, and it really sweat the hell out of me.I have not sweated that much in my life before. The only exercise that got me so sweaty was Hot Yoga, I'm amazed by the amount of sweat that I could produce. 
But I'm even more shocked to see the other frequent yoga-ers dripping water, until the towel is crazily wet, to a point where the towel can no longer absorb water. You start hearing the "zzzz zzzzz" sound with every steps.

A little background about Bikram that I googled and found it useful 
Bikram Yoga is a system of yoga that Bikram Choudhury synthesized from traditional hatha yoga techniques and popularized beginning in the early 1970s. Bikram Yoga sessions run for exactly 90 minutes and consist of a set series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. 
Bikram Yoga is ideally practiced in a room heated to 105°F (≈ 40.6°C) with a humidity of 40%, and is the most popular form of hot yoga (a series of yoga poses done in a heated room)

Benefits:
Detoxification of the body and improved blood circulation
Toning and strengthening of your muscles
Better flexibility
Calming of the mind helps you to focus better
Weight loss - each session can burn up to 350 to 700 calories *wow*


I joined the SCMS this year - 10KM run. 
Happy to say that I've improved by 10mins despite my persisting cough. Almost lost my breath while running but I'm glad that D is always beside me. To be my pacer, my guardian and my running partner. I admit that I do feel bad cos he has to accommodate to my turtle speed. 
In fact, waking up so early in the morning is really horrendous, plus the cough that I had, I almost wanted to give up, but for the medal and the spirit, even if I had to walk throughout the course, I will continue. I know it isn't a wise choice to go with given coughing till asthma. 
I was glad I did not give up. I reach the starting point at 7.30, started my run at 7.40am. 
The weather was really great for running that day& there were enough water areas too. 
Shermaine spotted me at the finishing line cos of my OTD i guessed. 
I did a photo of my outfit so that she could spot me from far.

So sad that SCMS got my name wrong! 
So I markered E in.. lol!

Yuppp, I joined this upcoming Marathon, not the full one, but the 6KM one. Cos the medal is mad cute. This also marks the 1st race of 2013 and it will definitely not be the last. I promised myself for more accomplishment for 2013 before the status change.

December hasn't been too good on me, but I can feel the love in the air. Although Dec started badly, I believe that it will be smooth tiding soon. 2 more weeks to end 2012, I hope everyone will be happy and healthy!, Till the next post.... Eat, Laugh and be Healthy. :)
